Tips Care for dry skin type

Dry skin has a matt texture, tends to flake and looks white or grey in patches. Often dry skin is aggravated because the sebaceous glands are lazy or the skin has been over-exposed to the harsh elements like wind, sun or sea. Central heating also worsens dry skin. Unfortunately, in this type of skin, wrinkles and lines develop early and dryness tends to intensify with age.

Skin Care Routine for Dry Skin

Even dry skin needs a good cleanser. Use oil (baby oil is the gentlest) to wipe off makeup and grime. Avoid all astringents, but do moisturise often and as thoroughly as possible. Leave the moisturizer on the skin as a protective film. Read the rest of this entry »
