Some styles will emphasise thinning hair and others may make the situation worse or appear worse than it really is. In women for instance pulling hair back tightly into a pony tail can cause trauma to already weakened hair roots. The hair is literally being pulled out. Yet it is a style adopted by some women whose hair is thinner than it used to be in an attempt to hide a scalp which now shows through. Or perhaps it is just the style they have ha
